Don't give up, You've got a reason to live.
Today, I returned to the site where I tried to kill myself the first time. The tree I tied the rope around has since fallen into the creek below and the broken noose was swept away by the waters. I was shocked at how much it has changed but It still felt the exact same. It was so peaceful, the wind shaking the tall trees ever so slightly, the water lightly splashing over rocks and fallen branches, birds soaring high overhead, squirels chasing each other around the treetops. The most memorible sound however, was the small rocks and sand crunching under my feet. It is always so painful to think about my past, but I think it did me some good to just sit there and think. I am writing a book on my past, mainly the loss of Ryan (R.I.P.) and I think this is the spot I will camp out in to write.
