"Have you ever wished for an endless night?
Lassoed the moon and the stars and pulled that rope tight?
Have you ever held your breath and asked yourself will it ever get better than tonight?
"Have you ever wished for an endless night?
"It’s only half past the point of oblivion
The hourglass on the table, the walk before the run
The breath before the kiss, and the fear before the flames
Have you ever felt this way?”
Dad and Papa - Honey Maid’s newest commercial
"This is a touching story of another real family in our new "This is Wholesome" TV commercial about how two traditional guys built their family on love and laughter."
"Let me tell you bout a time in my life when I was sitting out
Wishing that he was still around every night.
Thinking about you, call your phone
Never get a busy tone, we could go somewhere alone
And it would be alright.”
In just 67 days, I will leave everything behind and finally take charge of my own future. There will be no more excuses. Am I intimidated? Absolutely! Am I afraid? Absolutely not. I have dreamed of this for a long time and I know once I get to Philadelphia, everything I have been through will be worth it. It won’t be easy, but nothing in this world worth having is. Thank you to everyone who believes in me and who has offered their help, I am overwhelmed by the support and I will not forget it. As for those of you who doubt me, well, I guess all I can say is that you should never bet against someone who dreams.
“Some men see things as they are and say why. I dream things that never were and say why not.”
- Robert F. Kennedy
Do you need your faith in humanity restored?
And just think, these are just a few, there were thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of these that took place in 2013, many of them weren’t caught on video and went by unnoticed, but they did it anyways, because it is about helping those in need, not getting recognized.
"There’s a time for everyone if they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn
There’s a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours”
"There’s something in your smile that gives me strength to carry on
And there something in your words that lingers even when your gone
Oh I’ve dreamt, that a time like this would come, fulfill my life
Who could have known the one who’d bring it here would be my lovely wife”
"Hey there Delilah what’s it like in New York City
I’m a thousand miles away
But girl tonight you look so pretty, yes you do
Times Square can’t shine as bright as you, I swear it’s true”
"Can we go back, this is the moment
Tonight is the night, we’ll fight ‘til it’s over
So we put our hands up like the ceiling can’t hold us
Like the ceiling can’t hold us”
A LOVE STORY:
"I know that you read a million of these a day but I was hoping that you wouldn’t mind reading one more, that has an unusual twist at the end My fiancé and I met a little over two years ago while both working at Victoria’s Secret. Ever since the moment that we met I could tell that she was someone special. Over the first year and a half that we knew each other, we were close almost instantaneously. As most stories seem to go, the circumstances were never right. She was in a relationship that she wanted to make work, I was in the same situation as well. When I was finally single, she was still in a relationship. Being a good friend you know to keep your true feelings to yourself and be the supportive friend. But even back than everyone who was around us could tell that there was something between us. A year later I left that job so we didn’t get to see each other as much anymore. We finally got to hang out one weekend and went to play pool. As the night went by we caught up. Turns out neither of our relationships seemed to work out lol. That night was the first time we ever kissed. After that we didn’t see each other for a few months or speak about what happened. Until February 1, 2013. She texted me out of the sky blue asking to stop by to see me. That night we both came clean about our feelings for one another and have been inseparable ever since. But only 5 months into our relationship we have to deal with probably one of the hardest things any relationship could ever have to go through, a deployment. She was just deployed, July 14, 2013 to Afghanistan. This will be the single hardest thing she or I have ever been through. And I’ve been asked “How can you do it only having been together 5 months?”. I tell them “Easily.” I would go to hell and back for this woman, I would give my life if it meant saving hers. I have also loved her longer than the amount of time we’ve been together. And at the end of the day, what’s really a year and a half compared to the rest of your lives together? She’s well worth the wait. Thanks for listening.”

"Wish in a well, shooting star in the sky
We can do anything if we try
Can’t resurrect Gandhi, resurrect king
But if we put our heads together
We can do anything… like
You don’t have to be a billionaire
You don’t have to have much to show how much you care
Like… give a wink, give a kiss
Like… give a little happiness
If we give a little love
Maybe we can change the world”
